Small-Medium Business Neighborhood Program
The Neighborhood Program is part of our suite of non-wires solutions (NWS). NWS programs and investments allow us to maintain reliable service during peak periods of energy use without building costly new infrastructure and power lines. We’re looking to reduce the strain on the energy grid in these Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods, which is why we’re offering additional energy-saving incentives to the customers who live and work there. Beginning in June 2023, additional incentives are available in Jamaica, Queens. Check to see if you qualify.
Incentives for kW Savings
Incentives may cover up to 100% of the total eligible measure cost, not to exceed the total cost of the project.

How It Works
- Submit an interest form to get started today. Our partners at Willdan Energy Solutions will reach out to help you understand which upgrades might be right for your business and answer any questions you may have.
- Select an approved contractor from our list or have yours apply to participate.
- The contractor visits your business and recommends energy-saving upgrades. They’ll also tell you how much it will cost and how much Con Edison will cover. You decide if and when the work gets done.
- The contractor performs the work. Con Edison pays up to 100% of the cost directly to the contractor, and you pay the difference. No waiting for rebates.
