Savings for Commercial and Industrial Building Electrification
Receive incentives to cover project costs and save on equipment when upgrading to building electrification technology.
About
Incentives for all other eligible building electrification technologies—including, but not limited to, central air-source heat pump, ductless mini-splits, variable refrigerant flow heat pumps, and air-to-water heat pump water heaters—are available when installed in existing buildings or gut rehabs. Other building electrification technologies installed in new construction projects are not eligible for incentives.
Limited Time Offer
Projects completed by October 1, 2026, may be eligible for a 20% bonus incentive based on the following guidelines:
Eligible Projects
- Active* in C&I EE-E and submitted before June 1, 2026
- Fuel Switch - HVAC
- Space Heating: Full Building Load Electrification
- Space Heating: Phased Load Electrification
- Domestic Hot Water Electrification
Important Deadlines
- Complete installation by October 1, 2026 (Thursday)
- Submit required documents by October 1, 2026 (Thursday)
- Post inspection scheduled and completed by October 15, 2026 (Wednesday)
- Post inspection passed or cured by October 30, 2026 (Friday)
Terms and Conditions
- Total incentive amount cannot exceed 50% of the customer’s project cost for eligible measure(s) and 100% of each measure cost
- Project must satisfy all other Con Edison requirements per the C&I EE-E Program Manual and Building Electrification Technical Guide
- The 20% bonus incentive amount will only be applied to the measures eligible
*Active projects are defined as projects submitted to the program that have yet to be post inspected.
