Con Edison is requesting clean and non-emitting solutions to manage peak demand and address the transmission security need within New York Control Area (NYCA) Zone J (New York City). Please be aware, the application period is closed

Request for Information (RFI)

We’ve issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Clean and Non-Emitting Reliability Solutions to manage peak demand and address the transmission security need within NYCA  Zone J. This RFI welcomes proposals targeting any technology or customer segment.

We encourage proposals from:

  • Qualified Developers
  • Contractors/Installers/Aggregators
  • Technology Partners
  • Governmental Agencies
  • Large Property Managers
  • Large Commercial/Residential Customers


Submissions must:

  • Not create emissions 
  • Be cost effective
  • Be straightforward to deploy in a timely manner
  • Avoid or minimize negative impacts to Disadvantaged Communities* 
  • Have a reliable and clearly verifiable impact on demand
