Get Incentives for Cutting-Edge Energy Management Information Technology

Real-Time Energy Management (RTEM) systems optimize your facility’s energy performance, saving you money and making building occupants more comfortable.

For Building Managers

RTEM works with your existing Building Automation System (BAS) and uses additional sensors and advanced analytics to:

  • Visualize and manage your energy consumption and equipment performance
  • Diagnose faulty equipment systems in real time
  • Identify no- and low-cost operational improvements

RTEM systems identify opportunities to:

  • Save energy and money
  • Improve occupant comfort and productivity
  • Reduce maintenance costs and extend equipment life
  • Strategically plan capital investments

For Contractors

How It Works

  1. Apply to RTEM program by submitting your completed Participating Contractor Application Form (PDF) and Participating Contractor Agreement Form (PDF)
  2. Provide online RTEM System Demo to Con Edison
  3. Submit your Program Application Form (PDF) then wait approximately two weeks for a Notice to Proceed from Con Edison
  4. Install the RTEM system
  5. Email us your installation completion certificate
  6. Apply for incentives based on the energy you’ve saved
    1. Email us your incentive application with trend data that supports your savings claims. Con Edison will pre-review your savings prior to submission if desired
    2. Con Edison will review your savings calculations and trend data and issue a final incentive award
Customers and service providers interested in installing thermal energy storage systems or other technologies that can increase the efficiency of their heating, cooling, or refrigeration system can contact us to explore potential additional incentive opportunities.
