Demand Management Incentives for Large Customers

Help us lower our peak load on the hottest days and we’ll give you financial incentives to manage your energy use and save money.

Our Demand Management Program is open to Con Edison and New York Power Authority customers in New York City and Westchester

Project Funding

Con Edison has allocated $24 million and $32 million to spend in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Funding for all projects will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

For 2018, we have extended installation deadlines and raised incentives for many measures.

For 2019, we will no longer require that applicants post a cash collateral.

Incentives

All incentives will be capped at the lesser of three options:

  • Incentive levels listed in the chart below, based on kW estimates as determined by Con Edison
  • $4 million per project, or
  • $5.5 million per market partner or applicant in 2018, $8 million per market partner or applicant in 2019
