Con Edison Distributes Ice In Westchester County And Staten Island

Con Edison personnel will be at two locations in Westchester County and one in Staten Island today providing ice to customers who lost service due to Storm Isaias.

In addition to those locations, Con Edison will announce locations in Queens and Brooklyn.

The company will also have a mobile information center at each location with workers available to answer questions until 7 p.m.

The ice is already available at two Westchester locations:

• The Cortlandt Town Center, 3121 East Main St., Mohegan Lake, in the Best Buy parking lot.

• The Cross County Shopping Center at 8000 Mall Walk in Yonkers.

Ice distribution will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Staten Island location:

• The Staten Island Mall, 2655 Richmond Ave.

The company is following safety guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, State, City and County for COVID-19 and asks that customers practice social distancing with other members of the public and the Con Edison employees at the location.
