Con Edison Sends Crews to Philadelphia Area to Help Restore Power Following Severe T-Storms

Con Edison crews are working in the Philadelphia metro area to help utilities there to restore more than 500,000 customers who lost electric power during last night’s severe thunderstorms.

Con Edison dispatched some 50 employees, overhead crews, support personnel and equipment to concentrate restoration work in the area of Moorestown in southern New Jersey where PSE&G has nearly 100,000 customers without power.

If necessary, the crews will remain in the area tonight and continue work on Friday.
