Bonus Incentives for Soundview Gas Customers
If your business is in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx, you may qualify for additional cost-savings and incentives to get off gas space heating completely.
Non-Pipeline Alternatives (NPAs) help us maintain reliable gas service during peak periods of energy use and provide electrification as an alternative to gas, which eliminates the need to build costly new gas infrastructure.
We’re looking to reduce strain on our gas system and bolster the resiliency of our service in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. That’s why we’re offering additional cost-savings and incentives for eligible gas customers who live and work there.
If you qualify, you’ll receive our standard incentives through the Clean Heat program, plus these special, limited NPA incentives exclusively for your neighborhood. In addition to being located in Soundview, your building must be connected to Con Edison’s high-pressure gas piping system to be eligible.
Clean Heat Bonus Incentives
• Businesses ≤1,000 square feet, Category 2d Rate: Get an additional $2,500 per unit on top of the standard $2,500 per unit incentive.
• Businesses 1,001–2,500 square feet, Category 2d Rate: Get an additional $5,000 per unit on top of the standard $5,000 per unit incentive.
• Businesses ≥2,501 square feet, Category 4 Rate: Get an additional $8,240 per peak Dth/dy on top of the standard $150/MMBTU incentive.

To get started, reach out to one of our approved participating contractors. Your contractor will determine if you’re connected to any of our high-pressure lines and qualify for NPA incentives. They’ll also help you find the right equipment for your space and budget.
