Bonus Incentives for Soundview Gas Customers
Non-Pipeline Alternatives (NPAs) help us maintain reliable gas service during peak periods of energy use without building costly new infrastructure.
We’re looking to reduce the strain on our gas system in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx, which is why we’re offering additional cost-savings and incentives to the customers who live and work there.
If you’re eligible, you’ll receive our standard incentives through the Multifamily and Clean Heat programs, plus these special savings exclusively for your neighborhood. In addition to being located in Soundview, your building must be connected to Con Edison’s high-pressure gas piping system to be eligible.

*Deadlines
To be eligible for the Clean Heat Incentive, you must submit a complete application between December 5, 2023, and May 31, 2024, and install your project by the following deadlines:
- Category 2c: October 1, 2024
- Category 4: September 1, 2025
If you submit an incomplete application or do not install your project by the specified dates, you’ll be eligible for the Base Incentive Rates.

How to Apply
- Submit an interest form to be contacted by our authorized contractor, Willdan Energy Solutions. Willdan will provide you with information about incentives you qualify for and how you can apply for them.
- Complete the Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program Application (PDF) or Multifamily Clean Heat Program Application (PDF) and include any required paperwork. You can either email your application package or fax it to 1-212-785-2343.
- Review and choose from the list of participating contractors who are eligible to install your upgrades. Find an Energy Efficiency participating contractor or Clean Heat contractor.
