Westchester Insulation and Smart Home Technology Incentive

Is your home cold and drafty in the winter or hot and stuffy in the summer? You could be losing as much as 30% of your heat and cooled air as the result of improper or outdated weatherization.

We’re partnering with Sealed to offer the HomeAdvance program to improve your home's health and comfort with up to $6,500 in upgrades. Westchester customers can get professionally-installed insulation and smart home technology that balances temperatures all year. HomeAdvance covers the upfront costs to upgrade your home. Westchester Multifamily Gas Incentives

Energy management system incentives will increase by 25% in Westchester, going up to $15,000 per installation. These systems control central boiler plant operation using indoor temperature feedback and allow for remote monitoring and set-point adjustment via web-based software.

Custom incentives for steam-heat distribution balancing, linkage-less burner controls, and boiler stack economizers will increase by 30%, going up to $4 per therm of projected energy savings for Westchester customers.

Custom measures allow customers and their contractors to design unique energy efficiency solutions for their buildings and receive an incentive payment that is proportional to the expected energy savings rather than a fixed prescriptive rebate. Custom incentives are subject to a measurement and verification review by Con Edison and are capped at 70% of the total project cost.
