Con Edison Crews Restore 13,000 Customers Affected by Southeast Brooklyn Outage

Con Edison has restored power to 13,000 customers in the southeast Brooklyn neighborhoods of Canarsie, Flatlands, Mill Basin, Old Mill Basin, Bergen Beach, and Georgetown, and is working to restore service to 20,000 other customers in the area still without electricity.

Crews will work around the clock to restore service as quickly as possible to all customers.

Con Edison Customer Outreach advocates also will be available to assist customers Jacob Joffe Field at Avenue K and East 58th Street, near Ralph Avenue.

The company is asking customers in the affected communities to continue to conserve electricity even after their power is restored.

Customers can report outages and check service restoration status at, or with our mobile app for iOS or Android devices, or by calling 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633). When calling, customers should report whether their neighbors also have lost power.

Customers who report outages will receive updates with their estimated restoration times as they become available.
