This piece, “Illuminating Energy Flow,” features colors that are reminiscent of a Japanese countryside and is inspired by the Zen concept of Enso, “circular form.”

About the Installation
We strive to energize the arts in our community by supporting local artists and cultural initiatives. Illuminating Energy Flow can be seen on 14th street, 15th street, and Irving Place.
14th Street: Potential Energy
This section of the piece is about potential energy. It features warm colors like orange and red to energize all who visit.
15th Street: Sustainable Energy
In this section, Chizuco chose to use the cool colors green and blue to make visitors feel calm and peaceful.
Irving Place: Energy Flow
This section of the piece is for those in pursuit of happiness. It features more yellow and orange and is meant to evoke joy.
