Bonus Incentives for Soundview Gas Customers

If your home is in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx, you may qualify for additional cost-savings and incentives to get off gas space heating completely.

Non-Pipeline Alternatives (NPAs) help us maintain reliable gas service during peak periods of energy use and provide electrification as an alternative to gas, which eliminates the need to build costly new gas infrastructure.

We’re looking to reduce strain on our gas system and bolster the resiliency of our service in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. That’s why we’re offering additional cost-savings and incentives for eligible gas customers who live and work there.

If you qualify, you’ll receive our standard incentives through the Clean Heat program, plus these special, limited NPA incentives exclusively for your neighborhood. In addition to being located in Soundview, your home must be connected to Con Edison’s high-pressure gas piping system to be eligible.

**Projects installed on or after December 5, 2023, with applications submitted on or before May 31, 2024, are eligible for the 2024 Promotion Rates. Project applications submitted after May 31, 2024, will be eligible for the Base Incentive Rates. The Soundview NPA Bonus Incentive will be added to the Base or Promotional Rate (whichever applies).

**Residential GSHP projects will be eligible for the 2024 Promotion Rates if they are installed between December 5, 2023, through December 31, 2024, and submit signed customer commitments between now and May 31, 2024. Projects with signed commitments submitted after May 31, 2024, will be eligible for the Base Incentives Rates. The Soundview NPA Bonus Incentive will be added to the Base or Promotional Rate (whichever applies).

How to Apply

Choose from our list of approved contractors or have yours apply to participate.
The contractor will visit your home free of charge, recommend the right equipment for you, and tell you how much it will cost after Con Edison’s contribution.
The contractor performs the work and takes up to total incentive amount off your final invoice. No waiting for rebates!
