Con Edison Distributes Dry Ice in Queens on July 4

Con Edison will distribute dry ice today at the following location in Queens to customers who have lost power due to the heat wave.

The company will also have a mobile information center at the following location from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or as needed. Workers will be available to answer customers’ questions.

New York City Location

  • 110-00 Rockaway Blvd at Resorts World Casino Lot C, which can be accessed from Aqueduct Road. Distribution will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or as needed.

Instructions for safe handling and disposal of dry ice are printed on the bag containing the ice. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide and should be used only in well-ventilated areas. A reminder: children and pets should be kept safely away from dry ice.
