Con Edison Distributes Dry Ice In Brooklyn on July 3

Con Edison will distribute dry ice today at the following location in Brooklyn to customers who have lost power due to the heat wave.

The company will also have a mobile information center at the following location from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Workers will be available to answer customers’ questions.

New York City Location

  • The intersection of Troutman St and Central Ave., Brooklyn. Distribution will be from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. or until supplies run out.

Instructions for safe handling and disposal of dry ice are printed on the bag containing the ice. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide and should be used only in well-ventilated areas. A reminder: children and pets should be kept safely away from dry ice.
