Non-Pipeline Alternatives (NPAs) help us maintain reliable gas service during peak periods of energy use and provide electrification as an alternative to gas, which eliminates the need to build costly new gas infrastructure.

We’re looking to reduce strain on our gas system and bolster the resiliency of our service in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. That’s why we’re offering additional cost-savings and incentives for eligible gas customers who live and work there.

If you qualify, you’ll receive our standard incentives through the Clean Heat program, plus these special, limited NPA incentives exclusively for your neighborhood. In addition to being located in Soundview, your home must be connected to Con Edison’s high-pressure gas piping system to be eligible.

Incentivos de bonificación de Clean Heat

• Vivienda unifamiliar o edificio completo, tarifa según categoría 2b: obtenga $16 000 adicionales además de los $8 000 estándar por incentivo de construcción.

• Vivienda o apartamento de 2 a 4 familias, tarifa de categoría 2b: obtenga $6 000 adicionales por unidad de vivienda (dwelling unit, DU) además del incentivo estándar de $3 000 por DU.

• Bomba de calor geotérmica residencial, tarifa de categoría 3: obtenga $8240 adicionales por demanda pico de Dth por día, además de los $35 000 estándar por incentivo de construcción.

Su contratista determinará si está conectado a alguna de nuestras líneas de alta presión y puede optar a los incentivos de alternativas sin gasoductos (Non-Pipeline Alternatives, NPA). También lo ayudarán a encontrar el equipo idóneo para su espacio y presupuesto.
