Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensor Request for Information
We’re deploying Advanced Metering Infrastructure across our service territories. This project will involve installing electric and gas Smart Meters along with building the supporting communications network for territory-wide coverage.
We seek a firm to provide proposals for a carbon monoxide sensor that can accommodate a long-life battery and Silver Springs Networks Interface Card (NIC).
This sensor—once integrated with a Silver Springs Networks NIC—will have the potential to be installed in more than 260,000 manholes and service structures. Once installed, the sensor will detect the presence of carbon monoxide, indicating a potential safety concern.
