Restorations Completed For More Than 9,800 Customers Following Last Night’s Storm

Con Edison Reminds Customers to Report Outages & Be Safe

Con Edison said that the outages caused by yesterday’s storm are now below 3,200, as crews worked throughout the night and into today to restore service to customers.

More than 9,800 of the approximately 13,000 customers in Westchester County and New York City whose service was interrupted by the storm have had power restored.

Crews are continuing to work to restore power to the approximately 3,200 customers without power as of 3 p.m. today. The majority of outages are in Westchester County, where approximately 1,900 customers are currently affected.

The company said the vast majority of customers who lost power overnight should have power restored by the end of the day. Persistent winds throughout today have caused additional outages and customers who report their outages will be provided with their restoration times.

Safety remains our top priority. Treat all downed wires as if they are live and dangerous. Be careful of power lines that may be hidden under leaves, tree branches or other debris.

Customers can report outages and check service restoration status at www.conEd.com/reportoutage, or with our mobile app for iOS or Android devices, or by calling 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633). When calling, customers should report whether their neighbors also have lost power.

Customers who report outages will receive updates with their estimated restoration times as they become available.

Con Edison is in contact with local and municipal officials, as well as the appropriate Office of Emergency Services to keep them apprised of all restoration efforts.
