Con Edison Will Continue Dry Ice Distribution in Westchester Today

Con Edison will be distributing dry ice today at two locations in Westchester. The locations are:

K-Mart Shopping Center
355 Downing Drive
Yorktown Heights
10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

New Rochelle City Hall
Rear Parking Lot 515
North Avenue New Rochelle
10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Safe handling and disposal instructions will be distributed in English and Spanish along with the paper bags containing the dry ice. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide and should be used only in well-ventilated areas. Keep children and pets safely away.

Con Edison crews are making steady progress around the clock restoring electric service to those still affected by winter storm Riley. Company crews are also preparing for the new storm that’s on the way. Be sure and remind everyone to stay away from any downed wires; they may be live. Your safety is our highest priority.
