Con Edison Crews To Help Restore Power In Philadelphia Area
More than 50 Con Edison workers traveled to the Philadelphia area today to help PECO restore service to customers affected by the storm that struck Tuesday night.
At the height of the storm, 250,000 customers were impacted. In the first 18 hours following the storm, PECO restored service to more than 105,000 customers.
Con Edison is a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc. [NYSE: ED], one of the nation's largest investor-owned energy companies, with approximately $13 billion in annual revenues and $44 billion in assets. The utility provides electric, gas and steam service to more than 3 million customers in New York City and Westchester County, N.Y.
