Con Edison received approval from the PSC for Steam Tariff Changes to Establish Pilot Programs.
On July 28, 2011, Con Edison filed with the Public Service Commission (the “Commission”) changes to its steam rate schedule, P.S.C. No. 4 – Steam. The Company proposed to establish pilot programs for demand response (“DR”) and for customer sited supply (“CSS”). On December 16, 2011 the PSC approved the filing with modifications and these have been included in the above documents and links to the tariff, procedure and application associated with each Pilot Program.
The Company has established Rider F – DR Pilot Programs, which would have a winter DR pilot program (January 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012 and December 1, 2012 through March 31, 2013) and a summer DR pilot program (April 1, 2012 through October 31, 2012).
The Company also established Rider G – CSS Pilot Program – for the purchase of steam from steam customers that have a combined heat and power facility on their premises.
