BRONX RESIDENT CATHERINE TARRATS
WINS CON EDISON'S HIGHEST HONOR
NEW YORK – Catherine Tarrats, a resident of Bronx, N.Y. and a Customer Service Representative for Con Edison, has won the company’s highest honor, the “Living Our Values” award.
Tarrats, who joined the company in 1977, was chosen for exemplifying Con Edison’s values of service, teamwork, excellence and community service.
“Catherine interacts professionally with residential customers, as well as local and state government agencies,” said Joel Rivera, supervisor, Customer Operations for Manhattan. “Her expertise has streamlined many functions within our department, which has saved us time and resources.”
Tarrats is part of a team that manages collections and payments. She has been revered for her vast knowledge and organizational skills.
“I treat each customer with respect in the same way that I want to be treated when I have to make a call for services,” said Tarrats. “I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with great co-workers that make my job enjoyable.”
Tarrats and her husband of 45 years, Ray Tarrats, have two children and six grandchildren. Her hobbies include photography and making photographic collages for family and friends.
She also enjoys chaperoning teenagers in her community, escorting them to cultural activities, museums and aquariums.
