NEW YORK – Con Edison is urging all customers to inform the company when they move in or out of a home or business to ensure uninterrupted electric or gas service.
“It is vital that we have up-to-date information, so that when customers move from one location to another, there is a smooth transition of service, said Marilyn Caselli, senior vice president of Customer Operations.
Customers may open and close their electric or gas accounts by calling 1-800-75-CONED. Company representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to take information and answer questions. Con Edison is also able to assist customers in a variety of languages.
