NewsCon Edison Media RelationsFor Immediate Release: March 24, 2008 3:00 p.m. CON EDISON NAMES LONG ISLAND RESIDENT TO TOP POSTNEW YORK – Long Island resident Lore de la Bastide has been promoted to vice president of Purchasing for Con Edison, effective April 1. She had been a general manager in Customer Operations since May 2004. Ms. de la Bastide joined Con Edison in 1983 as a management intern and served as senior budget analyst, senior construction planner, senior accountant, section manager in Central Credit, and was a general manager of Transportation Operations. Ms. de la Bastide is a native of Little Ferry, New Jersey and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Peter’s College. She lives in North Babylon with her husband of 11 years, Tom, and their son, Adam.
