CON EDISON RESPONDS TO POWER OUTAGES
IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY

NEW YORK – Con Edison crews are responding to power outages due to feeder problems in the city of Yonkers in Westchester County and other areas.

It is estimated that up to 11,600 customers are currently without power in Yonkers.  The boundaries of the affected areas are:

                        Hudson River to the west
                        Ashburton Avenue to the south
                        Saw Mill River Rd to the east
                        Executive Boulevard to the north

There also are approximately 3,700 customers without electricity in  parts of the Harrison, Rye, Port Chester and Rye Brook communities.
