CON EDISON ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE CHANGES
Webb, 58, has served as Con Edison's senior vice president of public affairs since joining the company in 1992. Before joining Con Edison, he was vice president of communications and public affairs at the Hoechst Celanese Corporation in Bridgewater, N.J.
Webb served as a vice president at Hill and Knowlton, a national public relations agency, and as vice president of corporate affairs at two utilities, Iowa Electric Light and Power Company and Potomac Electric Power Company. He also has served as deputy director of public information at the U.S. Department of Justice and as assistant director, information services divisionfor the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Webb earned a bachelor of science degree from Howard University. He resides in White Plains, New York.
In her new position, Resheske, 38, will head Con Edison's Public Affairs Department and have responsibility for community, government and media relations as well as employee and corporate communications.
Resheske moves to Con Edison from Brooklyn Union, where she was the general manager of government relations and community development. Prior to joining Brooklyn Union in 1990, she held a number of important positions with city government, including director of public and intergovernmental affairs for the Department of Ports and Trade; director of governmental affairs for the Financial Services Corporation; and borough coordinator for the mayor. A summa cum laude graduate of St. John's University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in government and politics, Resheske taught Contemporary Government & Politics and Public Administration at that institution prior to entering the government arena. She currently is a Rockefeller Fellow. Resheske was raised in Queens, New York and now resides in Brooklyn Heights.
