CON EDISON ANNOUNCES TWO EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS
Con Edison announced today that its Board of Trustees has named Marilyn Caselli vice president - Staten Island customer service and John McMahon deputy general counsel - corporate and regulatory, effective October 1.
In her new assignment, Caselli, 42, will have overall responsibility for the company's local operations on Staten Island, including electric operations and customer service. Caselli is currently the general manager of Queens gas operations, a position she has held since 1996. Since 1989, she has held general manager positions in customer operations in Queens and Brooklyn. She joined Con Edison in 1974 as a customer service representative.
Caselli holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the State University of New York. She is the first vice president of the American Lung Association and resides in the Annadale section of Staten Island with her husband Matthew. The couple has two children.
In his new position, McMahon, 46, will have responsibility for corporate legal matters involving government regulatory agencies. He was named to his current position, associate general counsel - utility affairs, in 1996 and also has served as assistant general counsel and associate counsel for the company.
A member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the legal committee of the Edison Electric Institute, McMahon holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. from Manhattan College. He resides in Eastchester with his wife Catherine and their three children, and coaches local youth baseball and basketball teams.
