Con Edison is working to make it easier for you to convert to natural gas with our enhanced business processes and communications.   Converting from oil to gas is easier than ever. We have streamlined our process and established a department dedicated to oil-to-gas conversion projects, creating a one-stop resource for customers.

In addition, Con Edison continues to make strategic investments throughout our gas service territory, to increase the likelihood of a low or zero capital construction cost option to your building’s property line.

Our Area Growth initiative successfully provided a zero cost option to more than 95 percent of participants in 2013.

In addition, for customers who applied for gas service that were NOT Area Growth participants, we provided a zero cost option to more than 80% of our customers, and that number is trending higher.
