PowerMove
The ESCO Referral program at Con Edison is known as PowerMove.
Customers Receive a 7% Discount
Customers receive a 7% discount on the energy supply portion of their bill for the first two months when they enroll with an ESCO through PowerMove.
The customer can either choose a participating ESCO, or request that Con Edison assign one for them.
Billing Convenience
The customer will receive a single bill with energy supply and delivery charges from Con Edison.
Customer Eligibility
All customers billed under residential rates, commercial non-demand electric, and non-interruptible natural gas in the Con Edison area are eligible for PowerMove, unless they've already taken advantage of the one-time PowerMove offer. The PowerMove discount is available to customers once for each service.

Requirements and Testing
Here are the steps for an ESCO/marketer to participate in PowerMove:

1. Submit two original signed copies of our PowerMove Supplement to the Billing Services Agreement to:

2. Submit the ESCO Standard Sales Agreement(s) to be used in the PowerMove program to the NYS Public Service Commission Staff as follows:
- File the agreement with the Secretary of the Commission.
- Forward confirmation of Staff of the Sales Agreement’s approval to Retail Choice.
- Send the agreement (electronic or hard copy) to Retail Choice’s Supplier Relations Specialist for review.
3. Complete and return the PowerYourWay template, which includes marketing and contact information.
4. Complete EDI testing of the EDI 814 Enrollment Response transaction developed for the ESCO Referral Program. You may contact the EDI Testing Coordinator to schedule testing on a rolling basis. |
