Anyone can run into hard times. A personal crisis, the loss of a job, a fixed income that doesn’t cover unexpected expenses...things can go wrong. We understand that. That’s why Con Edison has a fund — EnergyShare — to assist customers in need. Grants from the fund help Con Edison customers keep the lights and heat on when they fall behind on their bills. And, EnergyShare grants can be added to other assistance programs, such as the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP).
Trouble Paying Your Energy Bills?
Residential customers who have an active disconnect notice may qualify for EnergyShare and receive a one-time grant of up to $200 toward the bill. To qualify, at least one payment must have been made. Customers must also be eligible or government financial assistance and/or meet federal HEAP income guidelines.
