Eligibility & Requirements
Con Edison residential electric customers living in one-to-four unit homes are eligible. Freezers and refrigerators must be in working condition. At the time of your pick-up, we will also collect and recycle old, inefficient window or wall air conditioners*. There is a $20 rebate per eligible air conditioner. The maximum number of rebates you can receive is two per eligible appliance; maximum of 8 appliances and rebates.

We recognize that recycling bulky appliances can be intimidating, even to those who would otherwise choose to recycle, so we decided to make it easy.
