To help your business reduce costs and become more energy efficient, Con Edison offers commercial and industrial customers incentives and rebates for installing high-efficiency gas and electric equipment.
Electric & Gas Rebate Programs
With Con Edison’s Electric and Gas programs for Commercial and Industrial customers, your business can receive rebates for certain upgrades, including lighting fixtures, LED exit signs, chillers, packaged HVAC systems, motors, and water and steam boilers.
Incentives
Many incentives are available for purchasing and installing specific high-efficiency equipment in existing facilities. Con Edison is committed to helping your business become more energy efficient.
Eligibility
To participate you must be a Con Edison commercial or industrial customer, in an existing building, who pays the applicable electric or gas System Benefits Charge.

Custom Programs
You can also get performance-based incentives for installing high-efficiency gas and electric equipment for your customized projects that are not covered under the equipment rebate program. In addition, we’ll pay up to 50 percent of costs, with a cap of $67,000, for a technical feasibility study for potential electric and gas energy efficiency measures.
Incentives
The Custom Program offers performance-based incentives for cost-effective, energy-efficient technologies not included in the Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program. These include implementing energy-efficient electric and gas measures, as well as funding a portion of a comprehensive energy study for customer facilities.

Data Center Efficiency Program
The Data Center Efficiency Program is a powerful new partnership to help data center customers in the Con Edison service territory reduce their energy usage, save on operating costs and cut greenhouse gas emissions through more efficient use of electricity. Under the new initiative, Con Edison and NYSERDA will work together to provide data centers with individualized and targeted technical assistance as well as funding for energy efficiency projects.
