Avoid an Estimated Bill
If we are unable to read your meter for any reason, you can avoid an estimated bill by submitting your own reading. Here's how:
If you have a digital meter, simply read the numbers from left to right as they appear on the display. Then, click here to log into My Account and report the reading. You can also report your meter reading by calling 1-800-491-0095 up to 11 p.m. on your scheduled meter reading date, or between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the following day.
If you have a mechanical/dial meter, watch our video below for a tutorial on providing an accurate reading. Then, click here to log into My Account and report the reading. Or, call 1-800-491-0095 up to 11 p.m. on your scheduled reading date, or between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. the following day.
If you prefer, you can also e-mail us your reading or take a picture of your meter and e-mail it to us at email@example.com. Please be sure to include your account number in the email message.
Your meter reading date can be found by logging into My Account. It is also printed on your monthly bill.
