Submit a Meter Reading

Avoid overpaying due to an estimated bill. If we are unable to read your meter for any reason, follow the instructions below to submit your own reading.

  • DIGITAL METER: Simply read the numbers from left to right as they appear on the display. To submit the reading, either log into your account or call 1-800-491-0095.
  • MECHANICAL METER: Watch the video below, or follow our written guide, for a tutorial on how to provide an accurate reading. To submit the reading, either log into your account or call 1-800-491-0095.

    Please Note:

    • Calls are accepted up to 11PM on the scheduled meter reading date, or between 6AM-5PM the following day.
    • If you prefer to email us, take a photo of your meter and send it to customerservice@coned.com. Please be sure to include your account number in the body of your email.

Your scheduled meter reading date can be found on your monthly bill or by logging in to your account
